The Site Development Department, as the authority and administrator of the Grading & Excavation Regulations, which are adopted as Appendix X of the Building Code and establish the standards and policies that apply to grading and excavation in unincorporated Clear Creek County.
Grading & Excavation Permits are issued under the authority granted in Appendix X, and are administered by the Site Development Department, with the goals of protecting public safety, health, and welfare; reducing increases in erosion and sedimentation; and ensuring the reclamation of disturbed land through the management of earth-disturbing activities.
