Sex Offender Registration - APPOINTMENT REQUIRED
The Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office is responsible for registering all sex offenders located in unincorporated Clear Creek County. If you reside within the cities of Empire, Georgetown or Idaho Springs, you will need to contact that cities police department to register.
Sex Offender Registrations are completed by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and from Noon to 4:00 p.m. No walk-ins will be accepted. Call (303) 679-2388 to schedule your appointment.
New Registrations and Yearly Re-Registrations are completed by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and from Noon to 4:00 p.m.. No walk-ins will be accepted. Call (303) 679-2388 to schedule your appointment. Be prepared to spend at least an hour for these registrations as fingerprinting is completed by the jail staff around their other duties.
Quarterly Registrations are completed by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and from Noon to 4:00 p.m.. No walk-ins will be accepted. Sex Offender Registration Fee's
In accordance with Section 16-22-108(7)(a) C.R.S., the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office collects the following fees from persons required to register.
$50.00 – New Registrations
$25.00 – Quarterly and Yearly Re-Registrations
No Charge – Information Changes
No Charge – De-Registration
