PURPOSE


The Clear Creek Board of County Commissioners seeks to develop a new County Coroner’s office and morgue space, in an existing facility located at 3400 Stanley Road, Dumont.

An ambulance station is operated in the current facility with the first and second level office areas being vacant and shared interior 3-bay parking garage hosting ambulance, Sheriff, and eventually, Coroner vehicles. 

The County seeks to retain a General Contracting Firm to provide all engineering, design, permitting and construction and/or construction oversight required to construct a Coroner’s exam room/autopsy suite with storage coolers as well as admin office space.  The Project includes architectural, civil and structural engineering, MEP engineering, Information Technology planning, construction testing, construction oversight, and contingency. 

The purpose of this Request-for-Proposal is to obtain relevant information, credentials, qualifications, experience and a proposed Project Approach from interested Firms to inform the Board for selection of General Contracting Firm for the Project. 



PROJECT DESCRIPTION


Located at 3400 Stanley Road, Dumont, Colorado, the site is an existing 3-story building on approximately 1/3 acre currently hosting Emergency Medical Services on the third floor and within the bay garage area.  The site is located along Stanley Road (frontage road) directly visible from I-70. The building is served by well and sewer.
