NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following amendment to the Clear Creek County Zoning Maps has been proposed to the Board of County Commissioners, Clear Creek County, State of Colorado:
Location: The subject property is located at 1896 Stanley Road between Idaho Springs and Dumont on the Stephens Millsite, M.S. #1044, located in Section 28, Township 3 South, Range 73 West of the 6th PM, County of Clear Creek, State of Colorado.
Existing Zoning: Planned Development PD
Request: Clear Creek County has received an application to rezone approximately 2.29 acres from Planned Development PD to Commercial – Outdoor/Recreation to facilitate the operation of a rafting company in an existing 4,200 square foot building. The site was previously approved for and used to assemble small pre fabricated chalet buildings.
Acreage: ±2.29 acres
Public Hearings: The Clear Creek County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 21st day of March, 2012 at 6:30 pm to consider the rezoning application before recommending approval, approval with conditions, or denial to the Board of County Commissioners. The location of the public hearing is the Idaho Springs City Hall, 1711 Miner Street, Idaho Springs, CO 80452, where and when all parties may appear and be heard.
Prior to final action, the Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the 9th day of April, at 10:00 am, to consider the rezoning application. The location of the public hearing is the Commissioners' Hearing Room in the Clear Creek County Court¬house, 405 Argentine Street, Georgetown CO, 80444, where and when all parties may appear and be heard.
